Certified Athletic Trainers

Mass General Brigham Sports Medicine delivers top-notch, comprehensive sports medicine care from a world-class team of experts, with the ability to network, connect and research with professionals across a nationally recognized healthcare system. Our staff of full-time athletic trainers fully integrates themselves into the high school systems to provide the best sports medicine care possible.

Our athletic trainers provide:

  • Sideline coverage at games and practices
  • Pre- and post-game/practice preventative and rehabilitative services
  • Assistance with the coordination of care for student athletes

Each athletic trainer works closely with a Mass General Brigham Sports Medicine physician who helps facilitate further care throughout the healthcare system, helping to keep an open line of communication with parents, coaches and athletes.

Mass General Brigham Sports Medicine is currently accepting applications for both full, part-time, and per-diem athletic trainers. The Certified Athletic Trainer program is developing a clinical ladder to assist with growth and skill development. Comprehensive Management of the Interscholastic Athlete Conference: June 23, 2022

The 1st Annual Mass General Brigham Sports Medicine conference took place on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, with Keynote Speaker Matthew Slater of the New England Patriots. The event was intended for athletic trainers, athletic directors, school nurses and interested coaches, and all those who provide care to the student athlete.
